Formerly known as Terroir Chocolate, in 2023, founders, Josh & Kristin Mohagen embraced their Norwegian heritage, renaming themselves STED, meaning "Place," and recognizing their commitment to Honor Place, Create Connection, and Celebrate Taste in everything they make.

Their chocolate is still handcrafted and blended to create a treat that delights all senses. They believe that the boldest of flavors come from simple, real ingredients that honor their origin and thrill the eater. Each bar is made in small batches at their family-owned factory in Northern Minnesota.
