Handcarved Cat and Mouse

The cat and mouse set is a fair trade product handmade in Kenya. It is hand-carved out of stone and sanded until smooth. 

The black cat and mouse is then dyed black. Then an artisan uses a knife to etch the dots into each piece.

The natural cat and mouse shows the natural colors of the stone, which can range in color from brown to gray to pink.

The cat is approximately 6 inches tall. The mouse is approximately 2 inches tall.

Venture Imports is a fair trade company that works primarily with women in Kenya. One of their goals is to ensure that every person who works on products is able to send their children to school.
