Sunday, February 23 from 7-8:30 p.m.
The fashion industry is one of the most polluting industries in the world - contributing to vast amounts of water, soil, and air pollution. Additionally, the fashion industry creates 92 million TONS of waste each year.
And yet most of us know very little about the environmental impact of what we wear and most importantly - what we can do to reduce our impact and ensure that the things we wear are made humanely and without harmful toxins.
Join Terra Shepherd Boutique owner and founder Sara Jamison as she explains what sustainability means in fashion and lays the groundwork for how you can begin to reduce your footprint in an area that touches our daily lives - what we wear.
This event will be interactive with questions and discussion welcome. Tea and cacao will be served, and guests are welcome to be the first to browse new Spring styles in the shop.
Space is limited to 15 guests for this workshop.
All guests will receive $15 Be the Change Bucks to use towards a clothing purchase.
When: Sunday, February 23 from 7-8:30 p.m.
Location: Terra Shepherd Boutique, 218 S. Phillips Ave. in downtown Sioux Falls, SD
