Mini Tallow Bath Salt - Rosemary Chamomile

$8.00

Description

Did you know that back before the industrialization of skin and body care products potatoes were often used to soothe skin irritations and troubles much like we still use oats today? Kids got poison ivy? Boil up a pot of potatoes for dinner, and soak the wee one in the left over starchy water once the spuds are done (and the water had cooled to a reasonable temperature, of course!). Potatoes still offer a wealth of benefits to our skin, and Vellum Street is fortunate to have a friend in Stargazy, a local British Pie & Mash shop that doesn't mind piling up the peels to be use! Blended with rosemary and chamomile that is sourced from local farm like Tooth of the Lion for an uplifting and de-stressing mash up that will have you peeling your clothes off!

Rub-a-dub-dub, the ultimate scrub & soak in the tub! Locally minded, sustainably focused & chef made, we source many otherwise discarded, food grade ingredients from area restaurants & farms, seeing their value & saving them from waste bins. Starting with biocompatible grass fed tallow, these bath salts are gentle enough for light use on the face, effective enough to scrub away rough spots, & powerful enough for a muscle relieving soak, with a touch of tallow to keep your skin moisturized! So go ahead & get salty!

This 3 oz mini jar will be good for 1-2 baths, and comes in an upcycled spice jar,

Please note that due to the plant based & clay colorants that are used, there is a chance of staining if you have a porous tub. Please spot test before soaking!
