Shampoo/Conditioner Drying Disk

$5.00

Description

The disks are shaped like a leaf and the spine of the leaf allows air to circulate around the entire bar. This allows your bar to dry out between uses, extending the life of the bar. That, my friend, is good for your wallet.

They are a beautiful accent to any decor.

Choose from either a Shampoo or a Conditioner disk or purchase both and they hook together like two puzzle pieces. Each disk is engraved with the word "Shampoo" or "Conditioner". They are also engraved with "Terra Shepherd". Made from repurposed wood.

Tangie was started because Angie had enough of her annoying skin irritations. Something in her head told her to look at the laundry soap she was using. After all, we ‘wear’ our laundry soaps every day when we wear clothes. She looked at the ingredient labels on the laundry bottles, and to her surprise, there were no ingredients listed. No ingredients listed, is that legal? She ‘assumed’ all the ingredients had to be listed on products like these.

She then looked at her shampoo bottles, skin lotion, and kitchen cleaners. What she later learned about ingredients label requirements shocked her. Unlike food products, manufacturers of chemical products are not required to list ingredients on their containers or make them public! The industry simply expects us to trust their choice of ingredients and we just assume they will choose the safest ones.

What started as a quest for happier skin has grown into something much more. When Angie Ringler launched Tangie in 2012, she committed to only using natural ingredients. Driven by her passion for the best ingredients, as well as a personal commitment to respecting our planet, through Tangie, Angie has created magnificent products.
Care Instructions

After using the bar, place it onto the appropriate drying disk. Let it sit there until you need it again. For the best results, let all bars dry between uses. Never let any soap sit in water. The water will break down the ingredients, leaving you with a mushy bar that will not last nearly as long as when you let it dry between uses.

How To Use

PRO TIP
You may find it handy to use the conditioner drying disk as a ‘handle’ on the conditioner bar. Sounds weird, we know. This trick was brought to our attention by several customers.

You see, the conditioner bar has good ‘stickability’ to the drying disk. So, you can pick up the entire drying disk and use it as a handle on the conditioner bar. The drying disk gives you more surface area to hold on too when using the conditioner bar. It really works quite well!

Pick up the disk with the conditioner bar still attached and wipe the conditioner bar down the strands of your hair. Set the disk back down. Easy.
