Grace/Snail heard this quote during a podcast interview when author and speaker Rob Bell was asked for his own personal definition of greatness. She was immediately captured by this wisdom and lettered Rob's words in a Moleskine notebook.
Fast forward to when Leah was in rehab, learning how to do life in her altered body. Grace posted this quote on Leah's bedroom door - a reminder of all the hope that she was spreading through her perseverance, wisdom, humor, and love.
When Rob Bell gave his blessing to illustrate his words (via the most heart-warming, encouraging voicemail that has ever been recorded in the history of the world), they both cried.

Tiny and Snail (est. 2017) is run by a sister team, Grace and Leah. They create joyful illustrations and believe that technology will never be as magical as a paper card. Both were born and raised in Rapid City, SD and Leah/Tiny lives there with her family today. The road hasn’t been easy. In 2018, Leah/Tiny was in a life-altering accident while working her day job, building homes for Habitat for Humanity, which left her paralyzed from the chest down. In that brutal time, Tiny and Snail provided a life raft for Grace & Leah to cling onto. Their cards and art reflect the wonder of life and the ability to shine light into dark days.
