Tub O' Lard Almond Whipped Face & Body Balm

$46.00

Description

Same lard, same purslane, but will have you smelling like the marzipan mommy (or daddy!) that you are. You wanna be as irresistible as a fresh baked Italian cookie? We got you!

Did you know that lard (yes, pig fat!) is close in both lipid structure & pH to human sebum, making it highly compatible with our skin? While tallow has higher levels of saturated fatty acids and Vitamin E, lard has levels of  Vitamin D3, Retinol-A, and Choline that also outshine those of tallow by an average of 200-500%! Lard is also a softer fat by nature, making it even more of a melt like magic into your skin moisturizer!

Tub O' Lard Whipped Balm is gentle enough for the face, delightful on the body, and effective enough for the even the roughest & toughest hands & feet!

Purslane, aka little hogweed, contains polysaccharides (natural humectants) that help keep skin hydrated. Purslane is also known for its antioxidant & anti-inflammatory properties.

NOTE: Vellum Street uses a bitter almond essential oil that is distilled from apricot kernels and rectified to remove the  prussic acid

    Care Instructions

    !!!!!ATTENTION!!!!!

Like other fats & oils, it is solid at cool temps and liquid in warmer ones. Warm temps above 75 degrees Fahrenheit will affect the texture.

While most folks are okay with the change in texture, some are not - the choice is yours!

While melting will not affect the efficacy of your jar of TUB O' LARD Whipped Balm, it will affect the texture. If it does melt, you can pop it in the fridge to firm it up. If you want to revive that OG texture, scoop it from the jar, pop it in the fridge overnight, and use a hand or stand mixer to whip it back up!
