Soothe rashes, cuts, stings, burns and inflammation!

Made with Cottonwood Buds, harvested from the homestead at Sweetgrass Farm. Cottonwood, "máahgu" in Hidatsa, is a traditional ingredient also found in Gilead Balm, known for is amazing anti-inflammatory properties.

The process begins by infusing the sticky, aromatic buds in Pure Olive Oil. After 6 weeks this amazing smelling oil is blended with other native herbs to calm and soothe irritated skin. It can also be helpful for chapped skin, diaper rash, and other skin irritations.

Cottonwood (Populus) buds contain a resin rich in compounds, including salicin, which has anti-inflammatory and analgesic (pain-relieving) properties.

Due to its salicin content, it's also used to ease muscle aches, joint pain, and other types of discomfort.
