Triloka incense is hand-made according to the ancient masala method, a tradition that has been passed down through incense-crafting families in India for generations. This tried-and-true process blends sandalwood, herbs, gums, woods, resins, and oils to form a paste (masala) which is then hand-rolled onto fine bamboo sticks to dry in the sun. This method creates incense with a long-lasting fragrance that leaves a subtle aroma even after the incense has gone out.

10 sticks per pack.

Handcrafted in India

Triloka, pronounced Tree-Loka, is an ancient Sanskrit word that means three worlds — referring to the connection between the heavens, earth, and our atmosphere. Their Aromatherapy Incense honors India's handcrafted 'masala' tradition by blending each stick with the freshest aromatic herbs, woods, flowers, and essential oils. Triloka has elevated this traditional incense technique with unique and vibrant fragrances. Their natural, non-dipped process produces a fresh, clean, light-burning fragrance.
Care Instructions

Caution:
Do not use flammable surfaces such as paper, cardboard, plastic, wood, or fabric.

Heat-resistant surfaces include glass, ceramic, and metal.

Keep lit sticks away from flammable materials, children, and pets.

Do not leave burning Incense unattended.

How To Use

Burn incense indoors and outdoors to enhance your environment's fragrance.

Light the tip of the incense stick. After a few seconds blow out the flame. Place stick in a non-flammable holder or pot of sand in order to catch the ash. The incense will burn slowly, releasing fragrance throughout your space. Incense will release even after years of storage because of its high quality ingredients.

Leave the ember on a non-flammable surface until it has completely died out before touching it to clean up.

If you wish to save your partially burned incense for another session, here are alternate extinguishing options:

Press the lit tip of the incense stick against a non-flammable, heat-resistant surface until the piece of ember breaks off.

Press the lit tip of the incense stick into loose dirt or sand until the piece of ember extinguishes.

Dip the lit tip into water. If you choose to extinguish in water, it can prevent it from burning properly the next time or affect the quality of the aroma.
