The Twig single-edge razor is closer in DNA to classic safety razors than the triple-blade Leaf Razor; however they still offer quite a different experience:

• The head is half the size of a traditional safety razor, which makes it easier to shave with and safer in tight and concave areas (there isn't a second edge hanging out the back).
• Leaf has completely re-thought the weight distribution of The Twig handle, backweighting it for extra control at the point of shave. 
• Leaf has angled the blade and exposed the blade like a modern plastic-razor might be exposed. This results in more intuitive shave angles and experience. You'll find that it's a quick learning curve before you're enjoying a lifetime of plastic-free single blade shaves.
